This is education, not a fatwa
Everything here is general information about Islam. It isn’t a fatwa and it can’t replace asking a qualified scholar about your own situation. A ruling often turns on small details that an article can’t know about you. If your question is personal, please take it to someone who can ask you follow up questions.
Schools of thought
We start from the Hanafi position and mention other views where they matter. Scholars of every school have disagreed on some questions for centuries. We try to describe those differences fairly, but we can’t cover every opinion.
Money, health and personal matters
Articles about money are general information, not financial advice, and we don’t recommend any bank, fund, company or investment. Articles about fasting with medicines, grief, anxiety or relationships are general information, not medical, psychological or legal advice. If you need help, please speak to a qualified professional. If you or someone near you is in danger, contact your local emergency services.
Mistakes happen
We check what we can, but we can’t promise that every article is complete, current and correct. Figures such as the zakat nisab and the price of gold or silver change often. Look at the date on the article, and check the sources it links to before you rely on a number.
AI-assisted writing
Articles are drafted with an AI tool and then read by a person before they go live. AI can state wrong things in a very confident voice, and a human check catches most of that. The Editorial and AI Disclosure page explains the process.
Names and links
If we mention a scholar, an organisation or a website, that isn’t an endorsement and it doesn’t mean they approve of anything here. TheDeenHub is independent. We link to other sites, including the sources for every article, but we don’t control them and aren’t responsible for what they publish.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, TheDeenHub and its owner accept no responsibility for loss or damage that comes from using this site or relying on what’s on it. So I would advise you to do your own research just in case for questions you might have.
